Mark The 13th Chapter

Mark 13:1-5 And as He went out of the temple, one of His diciples saith unto Him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as He sat upon the mount of olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrewasked Him privately, Tell ua, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you

There's a chapter in the Bible That is sweet unto my soul There are words of sweetest music Words more precious than gold It's in Mark the thirteenth chapter Second verse from there on down When our Lord shall come in glory in that last great trumpet sound.
Some may laugh and call you crazy When you say His time is nigh And He splits the clouds in glory When descending from the sky But Christ left the signs for people How they'd know the end was near It's in Mark the thirteenth chapter For the Christian it is clear

There'll be nation fighting nation There'll be father fighting son Abomination of desolation Before this old world is done There'll be pestilence and troubles Such was never known before We must pray that we'll escape it And go through Christ's open door
Some may laugh and call you crazy When you say His time is nigh And He splits the clouds in glory When descending from the sky But Christ left the signs for people How they'd know the end was near It's in Mark the thirteenth chapter For the Christian it is clear

In that day that Christ descendeth It will be a fearful sight For the sun will then be darkened And the moon will give no light No man knows the hour He cometh But the sign of the fig tree He left in our blessed Bible It's for you and it's for me
Some may laugh and call you crazy When you say His time is nigh And He splits the clouds in glory When descending from the sky But Christ left the signs for people How they'd know the end was near It's in Mark the thirteenth chapter For the Christian it is clear

When the branches are yet tender And it putteth forth new leaves Then we know that summer's near us Oh dear friends don't you believe AS you see the troubles coming Such was never known before Don't you feel His Spirit pleading Friends He's knocking at your door
Some may laugh and call you crazy When you say His time is nigh And He splits the clouds in glory When descending from the sky But Christ left the signs for people How they'd know the end was near It's in Mark the thirteenth chapter For the Christian it is clear
