Let Us Not Forget September 11
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to
the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance
is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
{Romans 12:19}
September's Eboned Skies
September, 11, 2001, will echo in our souls, til' the end
of time, beautiful bright sunshiny day, turns to smokey
clouds of disaster.
An unbelievable course of events, as a movie before
our eyes, inconcievable as a true course of life, terror
anger, sadness, a tomb in the streets.
The inferno grows, buildings colapse, bodies falling,
blowing from the windows, the brave rush to rescue
the helpless, unsure of their own fate.
Our nation struck by an evil, vengeful entity, as life
has no value, sadistic, hardened and cruel, causing
innocent to die, laying in pools of debris, meaning to
destroy freedom, unknowing that we the civilized
become stronger, and will defend our heritage.
Is this to be the end of life as we know it, will we
ever be the same, hearts laden with sorrow, for those
who lost so much, never knowing why.
Red, white and blue, we proudly wave our flag in
glory, we will rise, we will conquer, for God as our
mighty shield and sword, giving us the strength and
resources to defend our nation founded, in God
