Finding Our Lives In God
O taste and see the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.
{Psalm 34:8}
The central questions in life...Who am I? Why was
I born?...are troubling until we find the answers that ring true for us.
These questions can be difficult for those who have no foundation in
faith. Being human, we require meaning in our lives; and if we do not
find it, we are sometimes tempted to feel that life is not
worth the effort.
We can only find the answers to these questions as we grow in
our relationship with God. For it is He who made us and it is He
who holds the key to our lives. As we get to know Him better, He reveals
to us the purpose for which we were created. We discover that we are
His children and heirs to all His love and grace and mercy.
Lord, thank you for creating me and giving my life meaning
and purpose, Your love makes all the differance.
He has put a new song in my mouth...
Praise to our God.
