God's Blessings On Families
And His righteousness to children's children,
to such as keep His covenant.
{Psalm 103:17-18}
By making God the head of our families, we literally put Him
in charge as the Defender and Provider. He rewards us with many
and varied blessings when we put Him first. Harmony, peace
security, understanding, kindness, and prosperity flow into our
lives in great abundance; and our relationships within and
outside our family circle begin to flourish,
mature, and become fruitful.
A good way to honor the richness of this gift is by
daily joining hands and bowing our
heads and praying to God as a family.
When we do, everyone feels His strength and grace, for the
Lord is with us, confirming and acknowledging our words
and intentions. Our relationships are sanctified and blessed by
God when we as a family ask Him to care for us and protect us.
Lord, help me to give You Your rightful place of honor in our
home. Thank You for Your hand of blessing on our family,
bringing us love, joy and peace.
Your wife will be as fruitful as a grapevine,
and just as an olive tree is rich with olives,
your home will be rich with healthy children.
This is how the Lord will bless
everyone who respects Him.
